While every once in a while we’re able to get some peaches happenstance (like when our neighbor, Red, gave us two huge boxes this summer! Thanks, Red!). Or if a neighboring farm booth has some leftover at the end of a day of selling at the farmers market. However, it seems as if we’re constantly on the search for local peaches. Hit us up if you know an organic Willamette Valley-area peach farmer! Meanwhile, we currently get most of our peaches from Blue Raeven Pie Company out of Amity, Oregon, which is a reliable local distributor that gets their peaches from local farms.

This year we were lucky enough to get some beautiful frost peaches from Cresto Family Farm in Carlton, OR.

A Fall Favorite

Our Peach Vanilla Nutmeg is the perfect jam to have for dessert. It has a warmth to it that is reminiscent of pie, and yet also tastes absolutely great on toast. With the most beautiful amber tint and flecks of real vanilla bean, this jam makes a great gift. We like it best on hot buttermilk biscuits. It’s great any time of the year, but it feels like Autumn.
